Hotel Hostal Loreto is a comfortable, family run hotel with 43 bedrooms and a lively café/restaurant. The building dates from the sixteenth century and is a former nunnery. It is located in a pedestrian area in the medieval centre of the old town close to many shops and restaurants and overlooked by a Moorish castle. It is rumoured that a secret tunnel ran from the old nunnery to the castle. The hotel has recently been refurbished and all of the bedrooms have air-conditioning, flat screen televisions, ceiling fans, safes (personal security boxes) and private bathrooms with shower or bath and a hairdryer. Some bedrooms have a small balcony.Within a short walking distance of the hotel are 20 kilometers of beautiful beaches, excellent ferry links to Ibiza and the Balearics (Majorca and Minorca) and train and bus stations. There are also facilities for golf, hiking, horse riding, tennis, mountain-biking and climbing.
